Cold front moved through this week, so guess what? We had another baby calf! Big Red had herself a little black angus bull baby out of our bull we call Okie. Our other little black heifer calf that was born about a month ago is healthy too.

I Taw a Putty Tat

Meet Scooter. He's my Sunday morning blog reading helper. He's a single male looking for a warm place to nap, an unsuspecting guest to bite, and a piece of chicken. He weighs over 20 pounds, has a humongous tail and you'd think he'd be a protector but he hides whenever a male comes into the house. He's not good with wee children or pretty much anything new moving around in his territory. But he's my cuddly buddy especially in the winter when the house is a little bit cool. This morning he wanted me to pay attention to him instead of the computer...so he plopped himself down right between me and the screen!
